July 4, 2006: Grand Street Bridge Booth / Torn Flag in Gowanus
Here's a sad dyptich for a fairly downbeat July 4th. The left shot is at the edge of the Newtown Creek in Williamsburg, and the right one is at the edge of the Gowanus Canal in Park Slope. With everything that's going on in the country today, I didn't really feel all that hopeful. We ended up spending the day in LA, having a BBQ, which was fun-- but it's hard to celebrate when the country is still at war.
