July 20, 2006: Two Women Talking Near Maspeth
I'm not quite sure where this is-- probably somewhere on Flushing Avenue, in the strange intermediate area between Brooklyn and Queens. I was shooting that day with a 24mm lens, which turns people into tiny little figures surrounded by monstrously large buildings. I'm not sure I like the effect-- particularly the barrel distortion created by the lens. A few days after I put this up, I started using the PTLens plugin to correct that on all my 24mm shots-- but this one I left as is.
