October 18, 2006: 8 Street Grocery
I've been slowly moving north in Long Island City: so far I've explored pretty much all the way to Broadway in Astoria. Of course, I'm working west to east, and I haven't made it much past 21st Street going into Queens. These neighborhoods are bafflingly large. I stumbled on to this shot near the projects near 27th Avenue and the East River-- I'm not sure what they're called.
