November 27, 2006: Gulls at the Malibu Pier
We've been working our way up through Malibu for a few years-- there are beaches every mile or two all the way up to Point Mugu, and dozens of hike spots in the hills above the PCH. One place we'd never visited-- the huge fishing pier just south of the Malibu Lagoon. It's beautiful-- all weathered wood painted white. At the end, a few fishermen were hanging out by their poles, and dozens of gulls were circling, looking for food.
