December 25, 2006: Self-Portrait With Karen on Third Street

My family has a little Christmas tradition, which is unusual in itself, given that we're Jewish. On Christmas Eve we have dinner at my parents' house in Park Slope, then drive out to Dyker Heights to see the Christmas lights. The next morning, we have breakfast and open some gifts. After that wrapped up today, Karen and I walked back to the apartment via the Brooklyn Bridge. I snapped this on Third Street near the Gowanus Canal-- I like the multiple reflections and the mirror distortion. I think it might be the only picture with a circular crop in the history of Bluejake.
