Bluejake

This is on Broome just east of Bowery-- one of the last blocks in the neighborhood to retain the cobblestones. It's a strange orphan of a street, cut off by Sara Delano Roosevelt Park on one side and the traffic of Bowery on the other. I used to walk down here a lot, on the way from my apartment in LES to Karen's in Soho, but not so much any more. On a visit this week, I found it unchanged.
