i was trying to remember what the picture at the top reminded me of-- and then i realized-- hiroshi sugimoto's shots of theatres-- it's the white rectangle in the middle.
the ghosting in the first image bothers me.
and i like the last picture the most.
In my opinion, San Francisco is limited in the street art department. Next time, if you can figure out a way, check out the abandoned hospital in the Presidio: http://www.flickr.com/photos/loupiote/sets/433042/
As of a couple years ago there was one fantastic wall. Photos here. I'm not totally sure I could find it again, but I *think* it might be at the eastern end of 24th street, through the little park and around the corner.
Damn - I missed my chance with this building and now its all closed off... development on the SF waterfront.
