El Sombrero

I am so god-damned bored with where I live. I'm so bored that I need a new word for bored, because I'm bored of saying that I'm bored. I'm overwhelmed by a complete lack of interest in these streets-- visual, social, or otherwise. I can see the Lower East Side and Nolita and Soho and Chinatown and the Village with my eyes closed, and that's not a good thing. Brooklyn beckons, I think.

shout out to brooklyn!

I used to eat at that restaurant every time my friends played at the Luna Lounge. Great big margaritas in paper cups, right? I don't remember them being that good.

I don't know of any place in Brooklyn to get a giant margarita in a paper cup, but you can always grab dinner at Alma and enjoy one with a stunning view of Lower Manhattan.

How about this for your new word for boredom:

Ennui - a feeling of utter weariness and discontent resulting from satiety or lack of interest.

From one of your daily visitors who never leaves a comment (until now, that is) - greetings from across the pond.

come up to harlem. ;)

You cannot get margaritas, but you can get 1qt mixed drinks in those clear to go containers at new apollo chinese resturant on metropolitan and grand in Wburg.

Also, Since so many of your pictures create a sense of isolation, I think you might try SI, or the Brooklyn Flatlands. I know a lot of my friends, especially those who grew up in NYC, think that manhattan, esp. LES, are really crowded these days.
