September 5, 2007: American Airlines

This was taken at LAX before the flight to Israel last week.
Unrelated: I'm thinking of buying a new film camera-- either 35mm or medium format. For the small format, I'm considering the Contax T3 or the Ricoh GR1, both point-and-shoots with legendarily sharp lenses. For the medium format, I've looked at the Fujifilm 645 and the Plaubel Makina-- those are both said to be very portable rangefinders. If you have experience with any of these cameras, and would like to make a recommendation, I'd appreciate any advice.

The GR1 is hot. I have lusted after one of those for quite a while now.
I just bought an Olympus XA, which has a lot of charm and is also supposed to have a pretty sharp lens (not quite in the Contax and Ricoh league, but no slouch). Obviously a bit on the lower-end of the scale, but extremely compact and quite capable.
