March 18, 2008: Coney Island

Last weekend I trooped over to Coney Island looking for a couple of Revs pieces. It was pretty cold, and there weren't many people out. Afterwards, I walked on the boardwalk for a bit, and on the way back to the train noticed that the walls of this huge construction site had blown down. Inside was an empty space about the size of Astroland-- barren as the surface of the moon. Related: another angle.
Wow, haven't been there since last summer, although I have to admit that I enjoy visiting the spot for the dilapidated structures to photograph.
