December 22, 2008: Outside the Metropolitan Museum

Karen went back to work at the museum, so I've been up there a bunch of times recently. I love wandering around the more distant parts of the museum-- Asian Arts, the American period rooms, Oceanic art, etc. Not that the popular galleries are bad-- the new Roman and Medieval rooms are beautiful-- but I prefer my art without the crowds.
