March 10, 2009: Pollos Vivos

I haven't been shooting much this month, so I've been scouring my archives for pictures that I never put up on Bluejake. Here's one I took in 2006 down in East Williamsburg. I used a vertical version of it at the time, but I think it's better served in the horizontal. Who knows what I'll turn up as I get back into 2005! Related: nothing makes you feel old than looking at pictures you shot and forgot about.

What I find very interesting is that the sign is in what I take to be 3 different languages. Great picture!!!
I like the way the Yiddish in the photo next to the other version of this photo is a transliteration of the English words "car service."
When did you get RSS? Why didn't you tell me?
looks like a bad area, gated up closed down, but somehow the building sticks out
