Bluejake

On Saturday a few of us took a tour of this abandoned railroad powerhouse, tucked away in a part of Manhattan we rarely visit. The building had an interesting shape-- narrow, deep, and four stories high. At the base sat the remains of these huge turbines-- higher up on the catwalks there were shells of different kinds of electric and mechanical equipment. Throughout the building and up on the roof were old Sane Smith tags-- some going back to the middle 1980s.
