On Thanksgiving, we have a little tradition: Karen cooks with her mom, and I take myself on a guided streetart tour through the abandoned streets of Los Angeles. No one is out on Thanksgiving morning. The shot above was taken on Pico, a few blocks off the 405-- normally a very busy street. I drove down that way towards Venice, where I explored the canals off 26th Street. After that, a straight shot down the 10 to the Arts District around 3rd Street, and then up through Echo Park and Hollywood back to Melrose, which has the best concentration of graf in town. If you want to check out the shots I took, visit Streetsy.
Unrelated: I'm taking the rest of the weekend off. See you on Monday!
