This was on Kent near Greenpoint today. I biked out there to catch up on the Williamsburg streetart scene, which is going surprisingly strong for December. Maybe that's because it's been so warm. Many of the people who have been doing work at 11 Spring have been going up elsewhere in the city-- mainly in LES and 'Bburg, so it's worth keeping your eyes open for their pieces. There's a great Jace mural on the corner of 2nd Avenue and Houston in the city, for instance-- but it's already been hit by local taggers, who took offense at him covering up some of the local fill-ins that had been running on the wall. For my part, I'm looking forward to getting back to my normal, solitary graffiti-appreciating ways-- it's just no fun to take pictures of something that 10,000 other people are shooting the same day.
