One thing I still don't understand about the tenement rooftops: despite all the signs of life (chairs, clotheslines, cigarette butts, graffiti), I've never run into anyone up there. Not once in all of these months. Three times I saw people on adjoining rooftops-- usually teenagers smoking weed-- but never on the roof I was standing on. It's pretty weird, actually.

since about one year I visit your site nearly everyday and enjoy the your pics of NY. Expecially these rooftop-pics are great!
Is that the "Blue" at the upper right? It looks so very strange in comparison to the other buildings!
