Port Morris is the neighborhood on the East Side of the South Bronx, facing Riker's Island and the East River. Rumor has it that this site was once used for ferries bound for North Brother Island, but the gantries also hint at an industrial purpose. Maybe for loading and unloading cargo for the warehouses in the area.
