The other week we snuck up on to the roof of the Metropolitan Museum just before a thunderstorm to check out the Roxy Paine installation. It's a beautiful exhibit-- energetic, organic, reflective. And highly conductive-- a part of the structure is grounded in one of the rooftop standpipes to prevent anyone from getting electrocuted. It's open through October 25th.
What an interesting exhibit. It lent itself well to your artistic framing. I might like this shot with the sky more blue - do you plan to go back?

A blue sky might be interesting, but I kind of like how the overcast sky resists contrasting strongly with the white areas of the subject. Makes it feel even more abstract. I'm curious, how did you get the vignette effect?
